
Financial Controller/Commercial Controller
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in commercial or project controlling, or contract management. This role will support the Head of Field Service in managing finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.
Field Service Cost preparation: Prepare the FS & Tools cost for each Field Service Job package and timely submission to Project Management team.
Documentation: Proper and timely documentation of each FS job package.
Contract Management: Assist in the management of contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions, and supporting negotiations as needed.
Productivity Reporting: Prepare the productivity reporting for the FS team.
Collaboration: Work closely with all stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance operations and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, as well as company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in commercial or project controlling, or contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to RM7,500.00 per month
