About the job

We are looking for a passionate and collaborative individual to be part of our growing Digital team in IKEA Southeast Asia & Mexico. As the Digital Product Manager, we expect you to continuously develop the products within your portfolio, by identifying growth opportunities and leading the product vision, roadmap and enhancement, ensuring a great experience for our customers across touch points.

Your assignment

You will be responsible for a growing portfolio of multiple customer facing digital products across our IKEA online and offline channels. These include but are not limited to the website, mobile app, customer profiles, planners, checkout, digital solutions across the stores such as digital kiosks, digital signages etc.


  • Define the product vision, product roadmap and identify growth opportunities in line with customer/user needs and business objectives, together with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintain the product roadmap and backlog by highlighting priorities and dependencies, and prioritize with customer/user impact and business value, maintaining alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Define detailed product requirements, oversee product progress and quality assurance by liaising with product engineering and/or external vendors, to deliver effective products.
  • Identify product enhancements and new opportunities to improve customer experience through actionable customer journey/data insights and technology/business trends.
  • Promote transparency and clear communication on product release plans, product progress, roadmap/backlog and product usage/guidance.
  • Explore new solutions to meet the organization’s future business expansion and growth plan.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, developing good relationships across geographical locations.

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, a good communicator, listener and influencer, able to express and identify different point of views and weigh priorities and decisions
  • Values the diversity of our customers and co-workers
  • Proven track-record of leading digital development for digital solutions, with a good balance between customer/user experience and business focus, in a cross-functional development team.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills, with a drive for results and optimization.
  • Technical background in digital solutions and/or consulting experience is a plus
  • You have broad and deep understanding of market trends, new technologies and different digital components, and how to influence the customer/user journey in the overall product experience.
  • Understanding of agile/scrum development processes
  • Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods for actionable insights.
  • Genuinely driven to make a difference and able to maintain effective work behaviour in the face of challenges
  • Creative and innovative, able to challenge status quo and common ways of thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective influencer and decision-maker
  • Knowledge of Retail and Shopping Centres in digital ecosystem is a plus
  • Flexibility to work across time zones to support multiple markets, when needed
