- Develop and implement comprehensive SHE policies and procedures.
- Manage the SHE Committee and facilitate regular meetings.
- Conduct and coordinate risk assessments (HIRARC), routine safety and environmental audits and assessments.
- Lead and coordinate incident investigation and ensure timely closure of incident reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with Company and legal SHE regulations (OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, Fire Service 1988, etc) and ensure stay updated on relevant latest amendment.
- Develop, coordinate and conduct SHE training matrix and program for employees at all levels.
- Promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental awareness within the organization.
- Monitor and analyse SHE performance metrics and provide reports to senior management.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (BOMBA, DOE & DOSH) and ensure timely submission of required reports (mykkp and e-SWIS).
- Oversee the maintenance and replenishment of safety equipment and supplies.
- Liaise with HQ for latest best practices and requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate SHE considerations into business operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certification by DOSH/NIOSH will be added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SHE management role.
- In-depth knowledge of SHE legal requirement and relevant ICOPs’.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and presentations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
