Pastry Chef
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and execute high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
* Oversee the daily production of pastry and bakery items while maintaining consistency and quality.
* Ensure all recipes, preparation, and presentation meet company standards.
* Innovate and introduce seasonal and new menu items in line with trends and customer preferences.
* Manage inventory, order ingredients, and control food costs efficiently.
* Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety regulations.
* Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
* Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen team to create complementary desserts.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Head Baker, or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and dessert presentation.
* Creativity and ability to develop new recipes and seasonal menus.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
