INTRODUCTION :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a background in medicine, pharmacy, or a related medical field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business growth in the medical devices / wearable technology / digital health sectors. This role requires a unique blend of medical expertise and strong business acumen to effectively communicate the value of our innovative health products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and other key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

KEY SCOPES :

Sales Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for medical devices, wearable products, and digital health solutions.
  • Identify and target key market segments, including healthcare institutions, clinics, hospitals, healthcare providers, etc.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, physicians, hospital administrators, and decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
  • Understand customer needs and challenges to deliver tailored solutions and demonstrate product value effectively.

Product Promotion & Presentation

  • Promote and present the company’s medical devices and wearable/digital health products to potential clients, ensuring they are well informed about the features, benefits, and clinical applications.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals and end-users.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the medical device and digital health space.
  • Gather market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies.

Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth by closing new business deals and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to management.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Collaborate with the product development, marketing, and clinical teams to provide valuable feedback from clients and enhance the product offerings.
  • Work closely with the regulatory and legal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MD) / Pharmacy degree (PharmD, BPharm)
  • > 3 years of business development with strong understanding of medical devices / wearable technologies / digital health products.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and other key industry players.
  • Excellent communication skills.
