Job Duties
A. Administrative / Technical
1. Provide administration support making sure smooth in day-to-day operation
2. Under the instructions of the therapists, the rehabilitation assistant will assist during direct treatment or during assessment sessions.
3. Prepare patients for treatment by transporting to and from treatment area, assisting with removal and application of orthoses, prostheses, and clothing as required.
4. Instructs patients in self-care and instrumental activities of daily living to provide skill practice
5.Reports observations on patient progress and condition to therapists and other appropriate team members
6. Assists therapists in making. modifying, and adapting self-help devices and equipment
7. Assists in the inventory, ordering, and maintenance of therapy equipment, to ensure that appropriate supplies are available for patient activities.
8. Completes minor repairs and reports malfunctioning to therapist.
9.Participates in patient conferences to provide feedback to care teams on patient progress as required.
10.Maintains records such as statistics, and inventories, and performs related duties by utilizing computer, word processing software tools and related equipment.
11. Maintains work area by cleaning, transporting, storing and inspecting equipment and supplies.
12. Participates in team meetings, in service and quality improvement initiatives
13. Prepares purchase requisitions and/or uses petty cash to purchase department supplies.
14. Performs other related duties as required.
B. Resource Management
1. Create, maintain, and keep an accurate and complete record of documents and correspondence.
2. Manage and maintain contacts database to ensure it is up-to-date.
3.To take necessary action to ensure job knowledge is constantly updated to meet professional organizational needs.
Education / Professional Qualifications
1. Minimum SPM or Diploma or any related fields
2. Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the field of hospital.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
