Job Description
Full stack engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications as well infrastructure. Fullstack engineers work within the tech/engineering team to create user-friendly and fully functional web applications and backend infrastructure within the Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
- “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
- Design and deployment of our database
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Design and construction of our REST API
- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
Skills
- At least three years’ experience with:
- Writing HTML, CSS
- Working with PHP Laravel
- Proficient in PHP or Javascript
- Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
- Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
- Familiarity with a Vue and TypeScript
- Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficiency with Git
- Appreciation for clean and well documented code
Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Good client management skills
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Bonus
- Fluency in interfacing and unit testing
- Familiarity with various testing tools
- Comfortable with debugging and working with object oriented programming
