  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Your Role:

As a Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in our creative and operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing fashionable, innovative, and inclusive women’s apparel.
  • Collaborating with our team to develop seasonal collections that align with our brand ethos.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring our collections are effectively merchandised.
  • Conducting market research to stay ahead of fashion trends and meet customer needs.
  • Overseeing the production process from concept to final product.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Create or visualize an idea and produce a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
  • Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
  • Present the upcoming items to top management and colleagues based on design concept.
  • Design, sourcing, plan and develop merchandise for every season.
  • Research seasonal fashion trend, style, fabrication & colour theme.
  • Involve mainly in design development work.
  • Prepare drawings and technical sheet for production.
  • To liaise with supplier in local & overseas for raising sample, production capacity booking & delivery time and etc.
  • Arrange purchasing of fabrics & perform season review for merchandise developed.
  • Check and ensure the finishing quality and fitting measurements for all new samples are according to the specs before proceeding for mass productions.
  • Preparation of supportive documents and samples for seasonal presentation and photoshoot.
  • Other task as and when assigned.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A true love for fashion and design, with an eye for detail and innovation.
  • Proven experience in fashion design and merchandising, preferably in women’s apparel.
  • Up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and market demands.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to juggle multiple tasks.
  • Collaborate with other designers to co-ordinate special products and designs.
  • Purchase clothing and accessory items as needed to complete designs.
  • Draft specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements.
  • Examine sample costumes on and off models.
  • Select materials and production techniques to be used for products.
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are compulsory.
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Mandarin speaking.

Working Location: Kenanga Wholesale City, KL.
