Cost Estimation & Budget Management:

  • Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and budgets for precast works.
  • Forecast and manage costs throughout project lifecycles to ensure they remain within budget.
  • Monitor and report project cost variations and assess the financial impact of changes.

    Tendering & Procurement:

    • Prepare and review tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ) specific to precast elements.
    • Assess supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements.
    • Negotiate terms with vendors and subcontractors and manage procurement schedules for precast components.

      Quantity Measurement & Take-off:

      • Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and measurement of materials and labor associated with precast structures.
      • Collaborate with the design team to generate the bill of materials (BOM) for quantity and budget of each precast component.

        Contract Administration & Documentation:

        • Assist in drafting and administering contracts for precast suppliers and subcontractors.
        • Monitor and control contract costs and ensure timely issuance of progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
        • Manage interim and final valuations with the client, contractors, and suppliers.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on precast or structural concrete projects.
    • Experience in tendering, procurement, and contract administration.
    • Fresh graduate can be considered.

      Skills:

      • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract management.
      • Proficiency in construction software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, or QS tools (e.g., CostX, Cubit) is an added advantage.
      • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
      • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
