LOCAL PROCUREMENT and INVENTORY EXECUTIVE
Roles And Responsibilities
1. Procurement Management:
o Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure the best pricing and terms.
o Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in the procurement process.
2. Inventory Management:
o Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet operational needs.
o Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
o Implement inventory control procedures to minimize wastage and optimize stock levels.
o Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock storage and movement.
3. Cost Control:
o Monitor and analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
o Prepare and maintain procurement budgets and forecasts.
o Implement cost-effective strategies for sourcing and inventory management.
4. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
o Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
o Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
o Coordinate with finance for timely processing of invoices and payments.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.
o Prepare and present reports on procurement and inventory metrics to management.
o Ensure all procurement and inventory documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Education / Professional Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
