About the Job

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with quality management systems, maintaining industry standards, and driving continuous improvement in product and process quality. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations.

Establish and enforce quality control procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

Lead quality audits (internal and external) and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Manage customer complaints and non-conformance reports (NCRs), conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Train and develop the quality team to uphold high-quality standards.

Monitor key quality performance indicators and report findings to management.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies.

Liaise with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials and components

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, RCA, and CAPA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), Lead Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in regulatory compliance for medical devices, automotive, or aerospace industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
