Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine event programs, ensuring they combine creativity with client-centred strategies.
- Assist in meticulous planning and execution of project plans, focusing on creating seamless event experiences.
- Collaborate with various teams to deliver event objectives and exceed client expectations.
- Take on active roles in on-site event management, ensuring flawless execution and memorable experiences for clients and attendees.
- Coordinate logistics such as vendor management, transportation, and equipment setup, ensuring all elements are in place for successful event execution.
- Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, adapting to any changes or challenges that arise.
- Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial briefings to post-event reviews, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Assist in creating and monitoring budgets, ensuring projects are executed within financial constraints.
- Ensure that all event elements meet high standards of quality, from technical equipment to catering and overall presentation.
- Quickly and efficiently resolve any on-site issues that may arise during events, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Conduct post-event debriefings with the team, providing feedback and analysis to improve future events.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Event Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination, production, or project management.
- A strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in verbal and written English. Other language will be added value.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail, ensuring every element of the event is meticulously planned and executed.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected challenges with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Technical knowledge of event production equipment such as audio-visual systems, staging, and lighting is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Ability to understand client needs and adapt events to meet their vision.(Client-focused approach)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required by event schedules.
- Must posses own transport.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Subang Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
