Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations
- Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces regularly
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen
- Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and improvements
- Oversee scheduling of housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage
- Handle guests’ inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Prepare and manage the department budget
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and equipment
