GENERAL MANAGER (MANDARIN SPEAKER) SALARY RANGE: RM 8000 - RM 10000 About Us: We are a group of companies operating in various sectors including Food & Beverage, Retail, and Property Management. As we expand our portfolio, we are looking for a dynamic General Manager to oversee operations across our subsidiaries and drive strategic initiatives. Role Overview: The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for the overall management of the group’s operations, ensuring efficiency across our businesses while fostering growth and innovation. This role requires a strategic thinker with operational expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in multi-business management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Oversight: - Manage day-to-day operations of subsidiaries including the F&B division (Bing Xue), petrol station, and emerging retail businesses. - Ensure all operations meet company standards and operational goals. 2.Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement strategic plans that align with company objectives. -Identify new growth opportunities, particularly focusing on the renovation and management of our company. 3.Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor the operational managers of each subsidiary, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Oversee recruitment and hiring for managerial roles, including the new center manager currently being hired for our company. 4.Financial Management: - Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for all subsidiaries. - Implement cost-effective measures while maintaining product/service quality. 5. Business Development: - Drive initiatives for new business ventures within the retail line and other sectors. - Collaborate with the properties team to optimize the use of space and enhance the guest experience. 6. Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and local authorities. Represent the group in meetings and public forums, enhancing the company’s presence in the community. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within multi-industry operations. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage change and drive operational excellence.
