Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities: • Design & Planning: o Develop and review detailed engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications. o Conduct design calculations and prepare feasibility studies. • Project Execution: o Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects. o Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, local codes, and safety standards. o Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. • Site Supervision & Inspection: o Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support on-site. o Address any technical issues promptly and recommend corrective actions. • Documentation & Reporting: o Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and quality assurance records. o Utilize remote working tools to communicate updates and coordinate with team members. • Technical Support & Innovation: o Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and innovative technologies. o Provide technical advice and support to junior engineers and team members. Qualifications & Requirements: • Education: o bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. • Experience: o 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects. • Skills & Competencies: o Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, or equivalent). o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment. o Familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and industry standards. • Other Requirements: o Willingness to travel and conduct site visits as needed. o Experience with remote collaboration tools is an advantage. o Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer) is a plus
