Roles and Responsibilities: Shall coordinate actions to be taken as per the emergency response plan. Shall be responsible to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the industry regulations, code of practices, COMPANY’s requirements and the CONTRACTOR’s Manuals and the CONTRACT. Shall be appointed in writing by the CONTRACTOR. Shall liaise with the COMPANY Site Representative to ensure timely completion of all WORK ordered by COMPANY. During an operation, the Superintendent shall monitor and chart progress, update the Project Schedule, brief and de-brief his inspection and reporting team during shift changes, update instructions as to inspection WORK and keep the COMPANY Site Representative advised of the progress of the WORK at all times. Shall be responsible for ensuring that proper records are maintained and that all required reports are prepared accurately and submitted to the COMPANY Site Representative for approval. Shall ensure the IMCA Competence Assurance and Assessment is available for the Project Team. Qualifications and Competencies: Minimum shall possess SPM or equivalent. Shall have minimum 10 years’ work experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry. Shall have adequate experience and knowledge of the operations, techniques and equipment to be used pertaining to the WORK. Shall be able to transcribe the progress of the WORK as reported to him into clear reports. Record of competence to show meeting the competence requirements for the position. Shall be fluent in spoken and written English. Shall be conversant with the use of computers in inspection and reporting of the WORK offshore. The Operations Superintendent – ROV Campaign shall be a Malaysian.
