1.0 Leadership and Team Management 1.1Supervise, mentor, and motivate production staff to meet operational targets while ensuring a high level of morale and job satisfaction 1.2Allocate resources effectively, plan shift schedules, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet production demands. 1.3Oversee the training and development of team members, ensuring they are well-versed in operational processes, safety protocols, and food quality standards. 1.4Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary to improve team performance 2.0 Production Management 2.1 Ensure that production activities meet scheduled targets and maintain a high level of efficiency, consistency, and quality. 2.2 Identify production issues or bottlenecks and lead problem-solving efforts to minimize downtime, optimize output, and ensure continuous flow. 2.3 Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs without compromising quality. 2.4 Collaborate with the planning and scheduling teams to ensure production plans are met, raw materials are available, and the plant operates smoothly. 3.0 Quality Control and Compliance 3.1 Oversee adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSSP,HALAL AND MESTI) and ensure that production processes meet or exceed quality control specifications. 3.2 Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal food safety regulations, including those set by agencies such as the FDA, USDA, or EFSA. 3.3 Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that all products meet the necessary quality specifications and safety standards. 3.4 Assist in investigations into quality incidents or food safety issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 4.0 Inventory and Supply Chain Management 4.1 Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production needs without excess waste. 4.2 Work closely with suppliers to ensure a steady flow of raw materials, address supply chain disruptions, and coordinate with procurement teams to manage orders and deliveries. 4.3 Identify opportunities for reducing material waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact throughout the production process. 5.0 Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards 5.1 Ensure that all operational areas adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Lead safety audits, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices across the production floor. 5.2 Implement and maintain sustainability initiatives, ensuring that waste management and recycling processes are in place and comply with environmental regulations. 5.3 Investigate safety incidents or accidents and work with HR and safety officers to develop strategies to prevent future occurrences. 6.0 Reporting & Documentation 6.1 Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, downtime, waste levels, and product quality, and report regularly to senior management. Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction.
