Ensure that food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper handling and storage of food, as well as maintaining a clean cooking environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents in the kitchen. Inventory and Stock Management: Assist in the storage and organization of food supplies in the kitchen, ensuring that ingredients are properly stored and labeled. Help with the inventory and stock checks to ensure that ingredients are available and adequately replenished before running out. Report any shortages or issues related to kitchen supplies to the Chief Cook or Kitchen Supervisor. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain cooking equipment, including stoves, ovens, grills, and utensils. Clean the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils after each meal. Assist with waste management by disposing of food scraps and waste in the proper bins.
