  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), and Occupancy Rate.
  • Optimise pricing across different booking channels (OTA, direct website, corporate sales, GDS, etc.).
  • Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
  • Prepare accurate revenue forecasts (daily, weekly, and monthly) based on market trends and historical data.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking using STR reports and other market intelligence tools.
  • Adjust inventory and pricing strategies in response to competitor pricing, local events, and demand fluctuations.
  • Manage relationships with OTA (Online Travel Agencies) partners such as Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, and others.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align promotions, packages, and pricing strategies.
  • Support the front office and reservations team by providing pricing guidance and overbooking strategies.
  • Participate in weekly revenue meetings with general managers and department heads to review performance and adjust strategies.
  • Negotiate corporate contracts, wholesale rates, and group bookings to maximise profitability
  • Improve guest retention strategies by analysing loyalty program data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or hotel operations.
  • Proven track record in yield management, forecasting, and demand analysis.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), and OTA (Online Travel Agencies) platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends, demand fluctuations, and financial reports.
  • Knowledge of distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking strategies.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages like Mandarin can be an advantage).
  • Familiarity with hotel brand standards and revenue best practices.
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced, competitive hospitality environment.
  • Negotiation skills for contracts with OTA partners, corporate clients, and wholesalers.
  • Ability to develop and implement pricing strategies to maximise hotel revenue and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of key revenue KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy Rate, GOPPAR).
  • Ability to analyse competitive benchmarking data and market trends.
  • Effective collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting revenue strategies to management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
