The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a skilled production team. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes, process optimization, and leadership to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution - Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet company objectives and customer demands. Process Optimization - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Quality Control - Ensure adherence to industry standards and quality specifications, taking corrective actions as necessary. Team Leadership - Manage, mentor, and develop production staff to ensure optimal performance and a positive work environment. Equipment & Maintenance Coordination - Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Health & Safety Compliance - Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations. Inventory & Cost Control - Monitor raw material usage, minimize waste, and collaborate with procurement for timely inventory replenishment. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Engineering, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams to streamline operations and improve productivity. Performance Analysis & Reporting - Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decision-making and process improvements. Qualifications & Experiences Needed - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in metal fabrication. - In-depth knowledge of CNC machining, metal stamping, welding, and finishing processes. - Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Understanding of OSHA and industry-specific safety regulations. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
