Role Overview Field Service Engineer will serve our customer for product maintenance, spare parts and service package implementation. He will implement field services in accordance with the company’s sales contracts, coordinate with the outside sales team on customer complaints, track and handle the complaints and corresponding corrective actions. He will direct report to Field Service Manager, SEAPT. Key Responsibilities Duties will include but not be limited to: Senior/Field Service Engineer Establish and maintain excellent relationship with customer − Building up customer trust on service work with valuable and reliable service − Submit reliable and beneficial service report for service order − Collect and analyze information and customer needs through service work − Timely generation of Service Expense reports to enable billing to customers Improve service orders and support sales − Engage in plant walk down and go onboard of offshore platform to support sales activity when no service work is assigned Improve and strengthen various types of skills and expert knowledge − Attend the necessary education and training arranged by Company − Fast learner and analytical in problem solving − Self-evaluation of skill matrix quarterly Qualifications and Experience Tertiary education or above in Mechanical, Instrumentation OR Mechanical-Electronics. 5 years above experience in valve, actuator or similar product service area. To be familiar with valve, actuator industry application (i.e. Power, Oil & Gas, Petro-chemical etc.). Competencies Proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Highly energetic self-starter with a strong sense of urgency in solving problems Flexible, stress-tolerant and goal-oriented personality Able to travel on short notice
