Job Title: IT Applications Manager Domain: Healthcare industry work experience Experience: 7-12 Years Reporting to: Deputy Head - IT Location: Bangsar - Onsite Salary Budget 10-15k MYR per month Skills to look for: Experience in HIS & ERP; specially areas of Patient Billing, Insurance, Doctor Fee, Backend Financial Systems etc Employment Type: 12 months renewable Contract (long term project | Possibility absorbed by client at a later stage based on performance Role Summary: You shall report directly to Deputy Head of IT – Malaysia Operations Division or any other person as directed from time to time by the management as they think fit. IT Applications Manager duties as an implementer, educator, and evaluator to maintain and improve IT products & solutions for the organization to improve efficiency. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the testing, implementation, troubleshooting and support of IT Application Software. 2. Assist in project planning, scheduling, user requirement gathering, GAP analysis, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training throughout the project implementation. 3. Assist to plan and roll out IT Application Software patches and upgrade 4. Provide hands-on education and support to staff in the use of technology in a manner to ensure records are managed according to regulatory. 5. Provide direct support to end users, working within the established support framework that includes business and IT input. 6. Assist to resolve IT Application Software issue with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the IT Projects. 7. Consistently strive to improve knowledge and skills in the development of IT Application Software (HIS / ERP) and processes and work cooperatively within business user and IT to develop resolutions to issues in response to user requests and concerns. 8. Take responsibility for own workload and keep others informed, highlighting potential problem, and suggesting solution to ensure continuity of service delivery. 9. Ensure maximum use and efficiency of IT Application Software (HIS/ ERP), by performing regular analysis and assessment of functional workflow and provide recommendations for the automation of manual processes. 10. Assist to design reports for the purpose of providing information customizes with specific needs 11. Ensure selected representatives and target participants attend training (SUT), UAT, as scheduled. 12. Perform other related duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Superior or any other person as directed from time to time. Requirements: * Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent. * At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field preferably with healthcare exposure an added advantage is required for this position * Strong financial domain knowledge * Experience in Hospital Information System (HIS) & ERP; specially areas of Patient Billing, Insurance, Doctor Fee, Backend Financial Systems etc * Strong Computer Skills. * Ability to lead a team * Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team. * Ability to work on several complex issues at the same time. * Ability to collect, analyze, and present data at various audience levels. * Professionalism and an ability to manage stressful situations in a manner that is conducive to finding resolution. * Willing to travel
