Position Overview:
GSCF is looking for Credit Analyst to work in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia . Re porting to the Senior Lead, AP J C Credit . The role will primarily support the Asia Pacific specifically Korea business , and hence requires proficient Korean language skills . Responsibilities include performing analysis of financial statements and other credit risk information, to assess requests for revolving lines of credit for partners and clients . The analyst will also review proposed deal structures, and will recommend a credit rating, and terms and conditions suitable to support proposed credit lines .
Role Functions:
- Perform detailed financial analysis of audited and non-audited financial information.
- Make well-considered recommendations to management on credit risk decisions and conditions. Whilst ensuring appropriate decision-making to minimize bad debts due to customer defaults.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including upline credit management, financial sellers, and business support operations team.
- Contribute to ensuring appropriate mitigation structures in place, including understanding and management of collateral documents such as corporate and bank guarantees
- Work effectively as part of a professional and committed team, including supporting workflows at peak business periods
Required Skills and Experience:
- Undergraduate studying for University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Able to multi-task and effectively manage own time
- A collaborative team player, always willing to assist colleagues
- Motivation to succeed and drive results in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Resilient and able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of integrity, with self-confidence to liaise with internal stakeholders on credit considerations and decisions
