Position : Merchandising Support – Rental Income & Suppliers’ Account

Department : Merchandising

Reporting Line : Merchandising Manager

Overview

The Merchandising Support – Rental Income & Suppliers’ Account role is responsible for managing space layouts and controls, handling rental-related financial matters, and

maintaining supplier accounts. This includes issuing rental invoices, opening accounts,

processing new listings, scanning rebate claims, and managing all monetary aspects related to rental income.

Responsibilities:

1. Space Layout and Control:

· Oversee and manage space allocation for rental areas.

· Ensure proper utilization and optimization of retail and rental spaces.

· Maintain accurate records of space layouts and any changes made.

2. Rental Invoices and Income Management:

· Prepare and issue rental invoices to tenants and suppliers.

· Monitor and track rental payments to ensure timely collection.

· Assist in resolving rental income discrepancies or disputes.

3. Account Management:

· Facilitate the opening of new supplier accounts and ensure proper

documentation.

· Issue invoices for new product listings or promotional activities.

· Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers’ accounts and rental

agreements.

4. Rebate Claims Management:

· Process rebate claims submitted by suppliers.

· Verify the accuracy of claims and ensure timely reimbursements.

· Maintain a comprehensive record of all rebate transactions.

5. Financial Oversight and Reporting:

· Manage all monetary matters related to rental income and supplier accounts.

· Prepare monthly reports on rental income and supplier account activities.

· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

6. General Support and Coordination:

· Assist the merchandising team with other tasks as required.

· Coordinate with suppliers and tenants to address concerns or queries related to rental income or account matters.

· Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored securely.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
