  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

As an Assistant Manager, Compliance & Regulatory, you will be responsible for developing compliance policies, conducting audits, and ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and corporate standards within the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compliance checklists and policies for local and international telecommunications laws and regulations to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Implement internal policies to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor compliance requirements, assess company processes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance on Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Gifts & Hospitality (G&H), and related policies.
  • Assist the Regulatory Manager in auditing internal departments for compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written English proficiency.
  • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) and related regulations, is an advantage.
  • Willingness to develop new skills in the satellite industry.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Mature, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • This opportunity is available to individuals authorized to work in Malaysia.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

  • Telecommunication / Satellite industry: 5 years (Preferred)
  • compliance, legal, or regulatory role: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Legal & Policy drafting: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Training & Advisory: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Audit & Compliance checks: 5 years (Preferred)
