
TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR
Job Overview:
The Technical Administrator will provide essential administrative and technical support to the Operations & Project engineering team in the management of pipeline pigging equipment orders, contracts, and related project documentation. This role will focus on ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the coordination of technical activities and communication between teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support & Coordination:
- Assist project engineers in tracking and managing orders, deliveries, and deadlines for pipeline pigging material orders.
- Assist to monitor delivery schedules and assist in ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor progress on assigned tasks and ensure all deadlines are met.
2. Data Entry & Reporting:
- Enter and update project-related data into management systems (SAP B1 system and spreadsheets).
- Assist project engineers in data entry in SAP system for quotation generation, sales order generation and other related data entry tasks.
- Assist in tracking client invoicing statuses.
3. General Administrative Duties:
- Handle correspondence, email communication, and other administrative tasks as required by the project team.
- Support the team in preparing and submitting any required documentation or reports to clients or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in project management or technical administration are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical administration, project coordination, or a related field (preferably in the oil & gas sector).
- Familiarity with technical documentation, project management processes, and industry standards.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), project management software, and basic technical drawing tools.
- Experience with SAP Business 1 is an advantage.
- Knowledge of pipeline pigging equipment or the oil & gas industry is a plus.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
