Are you a skilled and dedicated culinary professional looking for a stable role in a hotel environment? We are seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to prepare meals for our staff cafeteria, serving approximately 200 staff across day and night shifts at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for hotel staff, ensuring variety, quality, and consistency.
- Assist in menu planning to provide nutritious and well-balanced meals.
- Manage meal preparation for approximately 200 staff, covering both day and night shifts.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with hotel policies.
- Monitor food inventory, portion control, and minimize wastage.
- Ensure timely food service while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Work closely with the cafeteria team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Open to Malaysian citizens only. Spouse visa holders will also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel, cafeteria, or large-scale food service.
- Ability to cook local and international cuisine suited for daily staff meals.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
