  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching the IGCSE subject to an excellent standard, differentiating for learners from different language backgrounds and levels of English vocabulary;
  • Motivating children to learn actively by imaginative use of well-prepared resources and practical activities to facilitate learning;
  • Promoting the subjects across the school, and maintaining a stimulating learning environment, including regular display of student work;
  • Marking work, giving appropriate feedback, maintaining records of student progress and development, and reporting in line with school expectations
  • Undertaking pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of Form Tutor, guiding individuals and a Form Group through organisational, academic and personal challenges
  • Preparing students for success in gaining qualifications and taking external examinations
  • Contributing to the development of the school and its students through co-curricular opportunities such as competitions, outings, social activities, marketing and sporting events
  • Taking an active role in meetings, staff development and whole-school training events

Requirements

  • MUST have at least a Bachelor's Degree in ICT/BM and related discipline;
  • MUST have a teaching qualification such as certificate or post-graduate diploma in education or teaching, OR a proven record of successful teaching experience in a similar school;
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience teaching Cambridge International or similar British curriculum;
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and spoken English;
  • Passion for teaching and ability to add value to our team.
