Job Summary:
Our client is seeking Cashier & Sales Associates to provide excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions in retail store located in Sunway Pyramid & Sunway Velocity Mall. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, friendly, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, providing product recommendations and excellent service.
- Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments securely.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in line with company policies.
- Drive sales by understanding customer needs and promoting products.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, store displays, and stock levels.
- Assist in inventory management, restocking, and stocktaking.
- Monitor and reconcile cash register balances at the end of each shift.
- Address customer inquiries professionally to enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow company policies on sales, returns, promotions, and customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and digital payment methods.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
