Job Responsibilities
- Perform wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, MRI, Fluoroscopy, BMD, Mammography and CT Scans in accordance with the established protocols, ethical standards and safety regulations.
- Handle and maintain radiology equipment, accessories and facilities with proper care.
- Promptly send completed patient’s studies to Picture Archiving Communicating System (PACS).
- Accurately document procedures in the registration book and record book documentation.
- Ensure correct charges are entered into the Hospital Information System.
- Upgrade skills, techniques and knowledge in the latest medical imaging technology through participation in continuing medical education programs.
- Expand expertise and capabilities in subspecialty areas to perform both simple and complex medical imaging procedures proficiently.
Job Requirements
- Must have at least Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
- Registered Radiographer with Ministry of Health, Malaysia
- Familiar with radiographic techniques & medical imaging equipment.
- High level of patience, empathy and compassion towards patients and family members.
- Good knowledge in Human Anatomy, Physiology, Radiation Physics, Radiation Safety Principles and Magnet Safety Principles.
