Job Summary:

We are looking for a Tool and Die Technician to design, create, and maintain metal tools and dies used in various manufacturing processes. This role involves working with conventional machine tools, power tools, hand tools, and CNC machines to fabricate and repair precise metal tools for production lines. The ideal candidate will have experience in tool making, machining, and repairing stamping molds, as well as expertise in milling and grinding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabricate, and repair tools and dies for manufacturing purposes.
  • Operate and maintain conventional machine tools and CNC equipment.
  • Repair stamping molds and perform regular maintenance tasks.
  • Process and finish tools using milling and grinding machines.
  • Ensure tools and dies meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools, dies, and related machinery.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • SPM or diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Tools & Dies or Technician is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in tool and die making.
  • Ability to handle and operate conventional machine tools.
  • Experience in repairing stamping molds and other metal tools.
  • Proficiency in milling and grinding processes.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
