- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including demand forecasting, order processing, and supplier coordination.
- Create and maintain purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials for production.
- Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
- Ensure 100% supplier on-time delivery (OTD) and negotiate terms to optimize cost and lead times.
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying risks and implementing improvement plans.
- Align material planning with production schedules to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Identify material shortages and coordinate expediting strategies.
- Monitor lead times for purchasing and production to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Oversee new product introduction (NPI) and manage end-of-life (EOL) transitions for materials.
- Ensure engineering change notifications (ECNs) are implemented in a timely manner.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, reducing excess stock and ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Use ERP systems (SAP, IFS, etc.) to track supply and demand, adjusting purchase plans as necessary.
- Manage AOS (Available On Shelf) issues and ensure accurate shop order execution.
- Monitor customer forecasts and orders, ensuring 100% customer on-time delivery.
- Continuously improve purchasing and planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO13485, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and insights on inventory levels, order status, and supplier performance for management.
- Support ISO audits related to purchasing and planning functions.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Planning, Material Planning, Purchasing, or Inventory Control.
- ERP system proficiency (SAP, IFS, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, supplier coordination, and material planning.
- Experience in mass production and NPI phase procurement.
- Ability to handle ISO audits for purchasing functions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring and training teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
