Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Policy Implementation • Ensure the Module 1 complies with Malaysian customs regulations as the private Bonded requirement • Lead from the warehouse standpoint to ensure that all the customs requirement is met • Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls tailored to plant operations. • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the plant’s supply chain and trade operations. Import & Export Management • Oversee all inbound and Outbound shipment, including the Stock card preparation, liaison with the customs Brokerage if there are any disputes • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with customs requirements • Manage relationships with Intel regulatory Manager, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and compliant shipping operations. • Work with logistics partners to, reduce clearance delays, and ensure that all the documentation is meeting the customs requirements • Ensure that all the extension letters for the inventory that is aging is maintained and review with the stakeholder • This includes the Scrap management Stock card and declarations requirement Training & Advisory • Provide training and guidance to the Custom Lots Coordinator, Carrier , GCCS, and also the Operation team on the customs and regulatory requirements • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external customs and trade compliance audits. Risk Management & Audits • Conduct regular compliance audits of the customs lot information in the system to ensure that the data is correct • Liaise with the team to assess the risk we may have with the changes that had been put in place. This Risk needs to be reported out to the Intel Compliance team Stakeholder Collaboration • Work Closely with the Intel Regulatory team to ensure that all the information and ensure that information is cascaded to the operation team • Review the KPI that is set for the customs Management to ensure that the process and arrangement that is done is as per the customer requirement • Weekly cadence with the carrier and Intel Regulatory team to review if there is a concern raised for the finish good Management Qualifications • Degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. • 5 to 7 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment. • Strong knowledge of Malaysian trade regulations, import/export controls, HS code classification, and customs procedures. • Experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), bonded warehouse operations, and duty optimization strategies. • Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export licensing, and customs documentation requirements. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Experience working in SAP, and specifically the GTS module of SAP • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
