Kitchen Operations & Coordination: Assist in coordinating food preparation schedules to ensure timely service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to streamline workflow and prevent delays. Support chefs in managing daily kitchen activities and operations. 2. Inventory & Supply Management: Monitor kitchen inventory levels, including ingredients, utensils, and equipment. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and kitchen supplies. Maintain proper stock rotation and minimize wastage. 3. Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Assist in organizing and conducting hygiene and safety training for kitchen staff. Ensure proper handling and storage of food and kitchen equipment. 4. Administrative & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate kitchen records, including temperature logs, inventory sheets, and cleaning schedules. Assist in staff scheduling and leave management to ensure adequate kitchen coverage. Support in the documentation of kitchen policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 5. Communication & Team Support: Act as a liaison between kitchen staff and management to relay important updates. Assist in training new kitchen team members on kitchen operations and best practices. Address kitchen-related issues and escalate them to management as necessary.
