Finishing Engineer

1)Oversee finishing works, including painting, flooring, ceiling, joinery, and other interior and exterior finishes. 2)Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure timely completion of tasks. 3)Review shop drawings and material specifications to confirm alignment with project requirements. 4)Conduct regular inspections to ensure that workmanship meets the required quality standards and specifications. 5)Identify and address any defects or discrepancies in finishing works. 6)Develop and implement finishing work schedules to ensure timely project completion. 7)Monitor progress and prepare daily and weekly reports for management. 8)Ensure availability of required materials for finishing works and manage their proper handling and storage. 9)Approve samples and mock-ups for materials like paint, tiles, and other finishes 10)Enforce health and safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment. 11)Ensure finishing works are completed without compromising safety standards. 12)Liaise with architects, designers, and consultants to resolve any design-related queries during the finishing stage. 13)Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure alignment on priorities and timelines. 14)Maintain accurate records of inspections, progress, and any changes to the scope of finishing works. 15)Prepare handover documents for completed sections of work.
