Building Materials Engineer

1)Source, test and assess the materials used in construction 2) To ensure that building foundations and materials are suitable and offer guidance on the best materials to use for a project based on the project costs and time frames 3) Prepare budgets and proposals, analyze labor costs and ensure all projects remain within budget 4) Suggest and choosing materials to be used and received from the local/China supplier and specifying the requirements for the projects to ensure that material wastage is within budget 5) Calculating material costs and writing the reports regarding projects demand to China Headquarter 6)Prepare and maintain detailed material documentation, including data sheets, test reports, and usage logs 7)Address material-related issues arising during construction phases, providing timely and effective solutions. 8)Participate in construction quality control to ensure that all materials being used or installed complied with the project quality requirements. 9)To monitor and perform material intermediate check if any materials damaged/out of stock/breakdown found 10)Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval. 11) Conduct material audit and inspection upon receiving it at the site. Supervise laboratory testing processes of material samples collected at plant and at site to ensure their quality and suitability. 12)Analyze project requirements to recommend appropriate construction materials. 13)Evaluate new materials and technologies to improve project efficiency and sustainability.
