Compliance and Auditing -Conduct internal audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards. -Ensure ongoing compliance with the organization’s Integrated Management System (IMS), highlighting areas for improvement. -Oversee the closing of audit findings, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented. 2. Facility Compliance -Ensure compliance with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and other relevant standards and client requirements across all locations and regions. -Perform regular inspections and audits to identify compliance gaps or areas needing immediate attention. -Coordinate with Facility Manager to monitor site-specific HSE issue. 3. Legal Compliance -Maintain legal registers and documentation, ensuring up-to-date compliance with DOSH regulations and other legal obligations. -Liaise with authorities or consultants to address any changes in legislation and ensure timely updates to company procedures. 4. Staff Training and Supervision -Develop and deliver training programs to keep staff informed of QHSE requirements, policies, and procedures. -Conduct general plant inspections, ensuring the proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols. -Distribute and maintain records for PPE issuance and usage -Promote a safety-first culture through regular briefings, toolbox talks, and targeted campaigns. -Regular Training for HSE officer -Regularly visit other facilities for HSE inspections, audits and training to share best practices 5. Client and Proposal Support -Collaborate across departments to complete QHSE questionnaires and documentation for client tenders. -Validate that client requirements are fully understood and integrated into operational processes. 6. Continuous Improvement -Identify opportunities for improvement within QHSE processes, systems, and practices. -Implement improvements and track their effectiveness via audits, performance metrics, or feedback loops.
