Environmental & Safety Engineer

Responsibility Continually monitor, review, and improve company environmental and OSH programs and procedures to ensure safety and compliance. Execute enforcement to ensure all activities are in alignment with environmental and OSH regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site safety inspections, safety audits to ensure activities are perform in accordance with environmental, and OSH requirements. Liaise on behalf of the company with appointed client environmental and OSH personnel and local government authorities and agencies such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, KKM, NIOSH, etc. Execute and review HIRARC for all routine and non-routine activities. Established, organize and coordinate Health and Safety Committee meetings and activities. Develop and conduct all environmental and OSH trainings. Established, coordinate and managed Emergency Response Team and its related activities. Organise/support EHS outreach activities and promotional programmes. Prepare report, data analysis related to EHS matters. Track environmental, safety and health metrics. Requirements: Degree in Health, Safety and Environmental Science or its equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience. Working experience as EHS Engineer in a Semi-Conductor Wafer Fabrication Plant is preferred. DOSH Registered Safety and Health Officer will be and added advantage. Experience with hazard assessment, data analysis and root cause investigation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (excellent in Microsoft Excel). Strong communication, negotiation and good interpersonal skills. Able to speak in Mandarin and English.
