Logistic & Material Control Engineer

Job Summary: The Logistic & Material Control Engineer is responsible for managing material flow, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure efficient supply chain management. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely material delivery while maintaining cost efficiency. Strong communication skills are required to liaise with international clients and suppliers. Responsibilities: 1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics and material flow to ensure timely delivery. 2. Manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and implement cost-effective procurement strategies. 3. Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and freight companies to optimize shipping and receiving processes. 4. Develop and maintain material control systems to prevent shortages and overstocking. 5. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. 6. Analyze data to improve logistics efficiency and reduce transportation costs. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain operations. 8. Communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and clients for order coordination and issue resolution. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Prior experience in logistics, material control, or supply chain management is preferred. • Skills: • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain optimization. • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with overseas clients and suppliers.
