Job Position: Junior/Senior Account assistant Job Description • Full Set Accounting: Manage the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions • Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management: Assist clients with the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and effective cash flow management strategies. Provide actionable insights to optimize financial performance • Audit Support: Support both internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation, reconciling discrepancies, and addressing audit queries promptly. Ensure smooth and efficient audit completion • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities comply with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies. Monitor and implement best practices to maintain financial integrity and mitigate risks • Special Project Support: Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support for special projects. This may include financial analysis, reporting, or process improvements to drive company growth and efficiency • Client Relations: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, resolve financial issues, and provide expert advice on accounting-related matters. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Take on additional responsibilities as requested, including assisting with other finance-related tasks or projects that may arise to support the team or business objective Job Requirement Must-Have Skills: • Professional Qualifications: Possess a Professional Certificate, ACCA, CPA, or a Degree in Accountancy or a relevant field • Fluency in English & Bahasa Malaysia: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia are required • Driving License: Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive Good-to-Have Skills: • Mandarin Proficiency: Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients • Experience: Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience will have an advantage, although fresh graduates may apply for junior positions as training will be provided • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues Benefits: 1) Performance incentive or bonus 2) Salary will commensurate with experience and qualification(s) 3) On Job Training is provided 4) Employee Bonding Program e.g. social sports teams, team building, staff parties etc 5) Strategic work location (accessible by public transport)
