Job Scope :

  • Responsible for issuing and follow-up on Purchase Orders to both local and oversea suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and correct prices
  • To ensure stocks purchased meet the technical specifications and requirements of the Company
  • Liaise and follow-up with local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely arrival of stocks
  • Ensure that all documents required for purchasing and payment are prepared in accordance with policies before execution and approval for payment
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including sales tax, duties and exemptions
  • To monitor status of completion for all shipment
  • Assist to monitor upcoming level of demand against stocks level to maximize business efficiency
  • Ensure procurement/purchasing documents are properly filed on time and easily retrieved
  • Communicates effectively with the suppliers on costing and on-time delivery
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Data entry and other duties & responsibilities as assigned by superiors from time to time

Requirements :

  • Possess Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 1 year experience in purchasing or procurement activities
  • Computer literate - Excel, Words, PowerPoints etc
  • Effective communicators and fluent in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia and ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skill, forecasting and mathematical skill and have passion/meticulous with figures
  • Able to work multi-tasks efficiently and effectively in line with the management's plan
  • Willing to learn, possess strong interpersonal skills, good positive attitude, committed and communicate well with all levels
  • To complete the allocated assignments with a stipulated timeframe and able to work under pressure
  • Experience in import procedures and customs regulations is an advantage
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Glenmarie, Shah Alam

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
