SUMMARY The Art Director at TYD plays a pivotal role in ensuring top-tier creative quality and nurturing the design team’s skills. This role involves hands-on design refinement, skill-sharing, and setting high creative standards to strengthen TYD’s position as a mid-range branding agency. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES A. Elevating Creative Quality Set and maintain high design standards for all branding, packaging, and website projects. Conduct regular design reviews and critiques to refine and enhance work quality. Develop visual guidelines and templates to ensure consistency across projects. B. Mentorship & Skill Development Host weekly skill-sharing sessions to upskill the graphic design team. Provide one-on-one coaching to help designers grow in creativity and efficiency. Identify learning gaps and introduce relevant training, workshops, or courses. C. Hands-On Collaboration & Refinement Actively participate in design execution for key projects to ensure premium output. Work closely with designers to enhance typography, layouts, color, and branding details. Encourage experimentation and new techniques to keep TYD’s work fresh and competitive. D. Project Execution & Client Satisfaction Ensure all design work meets client expectations and industry standards. Review final artwork before delivery, ensuring flawless execution and brand alignment. Present creative concepts to clients, explaining design decisions with confidence JOB REQUIREMENTS 6–8 years in branding/creative agencies, with a strong portfolio. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and print/digital production. Passion for teaching and guiding junior designers. A sharp eye for typography, composition, and brand storytelling. Ability to clearly articulate design choices and provide constructive feedback.
