Responsible for supervising and monitoring purchasing activities (non-technical items) in order to ensure competitive rates are secured for optimal purchasing and quality goods/services are provided in a timely manner to the company. Also responsible for process improvement of purchasing activities to ensure key performance indicators are reasonably met.
Job Description :
- Securing the competitive rates for purchase requisition received and to prepare purchase order on a timely manner.
- Maintaining and updating suppliers database according to activities.
- Ensure proper sorting of Purchase Orders and related documents are compiled accordingly.
- To ensure data entries and report from the system are accurately performed.
- Supervising and monitoring of annual tenders and maintenance contract.
- Responsible to understand and contribute towards the success of the IQEMS Policy.
- Responsible to exercise discipline and commitment towards safety.
- Perform duties in a safe and healthy manner. Working according to the instructions and always complying with the Safety and Health rules, procedures and practices.
Requirements :
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey/Engineering/Business related with 1 or 2 years of working experience or some exposure in procurement. (fresh grads are welcome)
- Preferably 1-2 years of working experience.
- Effective time management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
