  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Experienced Category Buyer to buy for grocery chain specializing in food & beverages , household , groceries and fresh items ( fruit , vegetables, meat and seafood , dairy and chill)

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in merchandising with minimum 1.5 years’ experience,
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers on promotions with solid back and front margins
  • Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
  • Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
  • BS degree in Marketing or related field
  • Ability to speak, understand and write in both English & Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in Mandarin/Cantonese will be an advantage
  • Comprehensive computer skills i.e excel , word , ppt
  • Willing to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives
  • Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
  • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales for best deals
  • Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
  • Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Remain up to date with industry’s best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
