Position Overview:

The Industrial Sales Executive at IGL Coatings is responsible for driving sales growth in the industrial segment. This role focuses on identifying and acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and expanding market reach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial coatings, surface protection solutions, and B2B sales strategies. They will work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development & Execution: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector. Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets and expand market share
  • Customer & Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers, distributors, and OEM partners. Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and negotiations to drive sales growth.
  • Technical Consultation & Support: Provide technical advice on coatings, application methods, and industrial protection solutions. Coordinate with technical and R&D teams to support customer needs and product customisation.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies. Identify potential industries where IGL Coatings’ solutions can add value.
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Track sales activities, analyse performance metrics, and prepare reports for management. Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and customer feedback.

Technical Competencies:

  • Industrial Sales Expertise: Experience in selling coatings, chemicals, or industrial solutions. Understanding of industrial maintenance, corrosion protection, and asset preservation.
  • B2B Sales & Negotiation: Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and complex negotiations. Skilled in pricing strategies, contract discussions, and closing deals.
  • Market & Customer Insight: Strong knowledge of industrial sectors such as manufacturing, energy, marine, and infrastructure. Ability to identify customer pain points and position IGL Coatings’ solutions effectively.
  • Strategic Sales Execution: Ability to develop targeted sales strategies to penetrate industrial markets. Work cross-functionally with marketing and R&D to align sales efforts.
  • CRM & Data-Driven Sales Management: Proficiency in CRM tools for tracking leads, managing pipelines, and forecasting sales. Ability to use data analytics to refine sales strategies and improve customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial coatings, chemicals, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of sales success in an industrial or technical sales environment.
  • Preferred: Experience working with manufacturing, marine, or energy sectors & Familiarity with industrial coating technologies and applications
