Job Description

  • To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
  • To handle all purchasing enquiry.
  • To negotiate on material pricing and purchases of materials.
  • To liaise with project sites for scheduling of materials.
  • To administer processing of payments.
  • To monitor movement of fixed assets.
  • To assist the Purchasing Manager in new product research.
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior.

Job Requirements

  • Possess Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration or Purchasing and Materials Management from an accredited college.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ working experience in a similar capacity preferably from a building and construction industry.
  • Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to meet high volume and demanding construction industry.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications.
