Job Summary:

The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR functions, including payroll administration, employee records management, recruitment, and general HR administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll & Compensation Support

  • Assist in preparing and processing payroll, including collecting and verifying attendance records.
  • Support in handling employee benefits, claims, and leave management.
  • Maintain and update employee compensation records.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation, and maintaining employee records.

3. Employee Records & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are adhered to and comply with labor laws.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documentation.

4. General HR Administration

  • Handle correspondence related to HR matters.
  • Assist in organizing company events, training, and engagement activities.
  • Support disciplinary procedures and grievance handling when necessary.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
