Job Overview:
The Security Personnel is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff at the hotel. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and providing a visible presence to deter potential security threats. The Security Personnel plays a vital role in safeguarding hotel property, guests, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor surveillance systems and security cameras to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and parking lots.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, including guest complaints, disturbances, and accidents.
  • Ensure proper access control by checking guest identification and ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
  • Provide a visible security presence to reassure guests and staff, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Document and report any incidents, accidents, or irregularities, ensuring accurate and timely completion of reports.
  • Assist with emergency evacuation procedures and provide first aid or basic medical assistance when needed.
  • Enforce hotel policies, including rules regarding noise, conduct, and safety, while maintaining professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
  • Work closely with hotel management and local authorities as needed during investigations or incidents.
  • Monitor and secure valuables, hotel property, and sensitive areas (e.g., cash handling areas, staff-only zones).
  • Assist with crowd control during events or high-traffic periods.
  • Participate in regular security drills, training, and ongoing professional development.
