Responsibilities:
1. Product Quality & Compliance
- Ensure finished products meet required quality and quantity standards during and after production.
- Conduct trend analysis on quality data, including swab tests, raw materials, finished products, and environmental monitoring.
- Troubleshoot product quality issues and investigate trade complaints to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure all lab equipment is in good working condition for quality testing.
2. Hygiene, Cleaning & Sanitation
- Conduct daily walkthroughs of production areas to verify cleanliness and adherence to sanitation SOPs.
- Verify and cross-check cleaning logs with actual conditions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure that all equipment, machinery, and tools are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained before use.
- Verify that all production lines are properly set up before production begins.
- Ensure all waste disposal processes are properly recorded.
3. Certification & Regulatory Compliance
- Responsible for the plant's HACCP and GMP certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation for HACCP, GMP, and food safety audits.
- Coordinate with local authorities and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Participate in internal and external audits (Halal, HACCP, FSSC, and customer audits).
4. Pest Control & Environmental Monitoring
- Ensure pest control measures are in place, including:
- Insect Light Trap Maintenance (monthly sticker changes, bulb replacements, and trend analysis).
- Monitoring and ensuring TRBS (Trap Box System) is in proper condition and placed correctly.
- Coordinating with pest control vendors for routine services and additional interventions.
- Ensure weekly updates and filing of pest control records for compliance.
5. Swab Testing & Product Monitoring Program
- Monitor and follow up on weekly swab tests (operator, equipment, and environment) conducted by QC Assistants.
- Verify swab test records and perform monthly trend analysis for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate product monitoring programs, including raw materials, finished products, and environmental controls.
6. Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and guide QC Assistants in daily quality control tasks.
- Monitor work progress and ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and food handling standards.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure that cleaning activities do not interfere with production schedules.
- Work closely with QA, maintenance teams, and vendors to maintain overall food safety compliance.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology
- Candidates with 1 year related experience in Manufacturing industry is an added advantage
- Well-versed with HACCP, GMP and other food-related regulations
- Analytical, well organised, good project management skill and well-equipped with multi-tasking ability

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
