Job Summary: The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Airbnb business, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery. This role involves managing staff, optimizing operational processes, maintaining guest satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Operation Manager will also work closely with other departments to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operational Management Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the Airbnb business, including housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and service excellence. Monitor daily operations and resolve any operational issues in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. 2. Staff Management & Leadership Lead, train, and supervise operational staff to enhance productivity and service quality. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development plans for team members. Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate workforce allocation to meet operational demands. Foster a positive and motivated work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention. 3. Guest Experience & Customer Service Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by implementing excellent customer service standards. Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly. Collaborate with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams to enhance the guest experience. Monitor guest reviews and implement strategies to improve ratings and service quality. 4. Financial & Budget Management Assist in preparing and managing the operational budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvements. Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and optimize procurement processes. 5. Property Maintenance & Asset Management Ensure all properties under management are well-maintained and in excellent condition. Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventive maintenance. Implement quality control measures to uphold property standards. Monitor inventory levels for housekeeping and operational supplies. 6. Strategic Planning & Process Improvement Identify operational challenges and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement technology and automation to improve workflow and service delivery. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Work with senior management to develop and execute business strategies. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the hospitality or Airbnb industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong financial acumen and budget management skills. Knowledge of hospitality regulations, safety standards, and guest service best practices. Proficiency in using property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
